On Feb. 24, Changzhou Culture Week opened at China Culture Center in Berlin, capital of Germany, as part of the activities for the 45th anniversary of China-Germany diplomatic ties.
Chinese Ambassador to Germany Shi Mingde, Director of China Culture Center in Berlin Chen Jianyang, Deputy Mayor of Changzhou Fang Guoqiang and members of the Changzhou cultural delegation attended the event.
Changzhou artists such as descendant of Free Stitch Embroidery Sun Yanyun, descendant of Jintan Paper Clipping Yang Zhaoqun, calligrapher Zheng Chang'an, and so on, introduced their art to visitors.
A series of cultural events will take place throughout the year in Germany to celebrate anniverary of the country’s establishment of diplomatic relations with China.
With the theme of “Cooperation, Friendship and Joint Success”, the program will include events raging from music, theater, dance and film to architecture, contemporary art, literature and cultural heritage.
