On the morning of September 1st, vice mayor Fang Guoqiang met with the delegation of Ashland Inc. headed by Andy Johnston, Group Vice President, Performance Materials at Ashland Inc., and Russ Montgomery, VP & Global Manufacturing Director, Performance Materials at Ashland Inc.
Johnston and Montgomery briefed the development of Ashland’s subsidiaries in Changzhou over the past 15 years, especially their efforts and achievements in safe and green manufacturing. Meanwhile, they highly evaluated Changzhou’s investment environment and expressed gratitude to local government’s support to Ashland.
Fang expressed congratulations towards the 15th anniversary of the establishment of Ashland’s branches in Changzhou, and highly evaluated the group’s business concept of sustainable development. He looked forward to a further cooperation between Ashland and Changzhou for a win-win result.
