During the first half of 2013, the foreign investment in Changzhou realized “three promotions” in the aspects of quality of projects, increase of funds and expansion of share, of which the newly introduced projects achieved the average agreed amount of 14.25 million U.S. dollars, an increase of 33.7% over the same period last year.
In the first half of year, an investment project from the Fortune 500 Companies was newly added, and the assets of BEKO, Bombardier and Jintong Car Parts realized increase, in which the large projects have played an important role. Seven projects each with total investment over 100 million U.S. dollars have been launched, while there were only three such programs in the same period in 2012.
53 enterprises in Changzhou achieved fund increasing and share expanding, with an increase of 460 million U.S. dollars in agreed foreign investment, up 41.7% over the same period last year.
