The 4th Changzhou Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, sponsored by the Municipal People’s Government and organized by the Municipal Science and Technology Bureau, will select outstanding innovation and entrepreneurship projects to promote mass entrepreneurship and innovation. As of now, 430 projects have been submitted for entry.
It was learned from the press conference held on March 13 that the previous three sessions attracted 1,115 companies and entrepreneurial teams to participate in the competition. The Municipal Science and Technology Bureau has given strong support to the award-winning projects. 204 of them have been included into the municipal science and technology projects, with the overall support funds reaching 46 million yuan. More than 100 entrepreneurial teams have registered in the incubators for science and technology startups. In the past three years, over 10 science and technology startups have invested nearly 500 million yuan in various institutions.
The competition sets three categories for mass entrepreneurship, science and technology SMEs, and innovative enterprises respectively. Up to now, 430 projects have been submitted for entry. After professional review and selection, it is expected that more than 160 projects will enter the finals.
