On the morning of November 27th, the charity event organized by Changzhou Radio and Television Station named A Charity Walk for An Egg was held in Changzhou. Approximately 2,500 people from all walks of life in Changzhou joined the walk to raise money for the purpose of providing solitary and infirm old people with better meals. Vice Mayor Zhang Yunyun attended the launching ceremony.
It is reported that A Charity Walk for An Egg has raised 156,600 yuan for Changzhou Radio and Television Charity Fund. As a special sponsor of this event, China Mobile Changzhou Branch donated 20,000 yuan.
It is learned that the charity event of A Charity Walk for An Egg was initiated last year, which has so far offered eggs and subsidies for nearly 700 solitary seniors throughout the year.
