On the afternoon of February 18, a delegation headed by Mr. Yan Li, party secretary of Changzhou Municipal Committee of CPC, visited Kohler (China) Investment Co., Ltd. in Shanghai, and had a meeting with Mr. Yang Qing, vice president and CFO of Asia area. Both parties had an in-depth discussion on issues regarding Changzhou Kohler Power Systems Ltd. in fields of the expansion of capacity, the introduction of new products, etc.
It was learned that Kohler will increase investment in its Changzhou company because of the company’s rapid growth. According to the present plan, Changzhou Kohler Power Systems is expected to achieve 180,000 sets of small generator in 2017. Meanwhile, some new products for small machinery and small vessel will be launched in 2015, which have a big market vision. Going forward, an investment of over 10 million U.S. dollars will be placed in new plants and equipment within three years.
Changzhou Kohler Power Systems was founded in September 2003, with a registered capital of 20.76 billion U.S. dollars, with a total investment of 59.4 million U.S. Dollars. The company is mainly involved in the production and sales of alternator, generator, engine, etc. Last year, its sales revenue reached approximately 100 million U.S. dollars.
