On the afternoon of March 31st, over 3,200 students from colleges, middle schools and elementary schools in Changzhou visited the Cemetery of Revolutionary Martyrs and paid their respect to those revolutionary martyrs in front of the Monument. This year’s program of “Involving One Million Teenagers in the Patriotism Education Base” was initiated at the same time. City leaders Ms. Xu Ying, Mr. Chen Weichang, Mr. Wang Chengbin, Ms. Zhang Xiaoxia, etc. were present.
It was learnt that the Patriotism Education Base program has been carried out for above 10 straight years, which has been honored the Innovation Award of the program of “Carrying Forward the National Spirit from Generation to Generation” by China Young Pioneers Commission. Meanwhile, the experience of Changzhou has been recorded in the Guide of the Program of “Carrying Forward the National Spirit from Generation to Generation.”
