On May 19, the 2019 China Tourism Day (Changzhou Main Venue) and the First Hanfu·Intangible Cultural Heritage Carnival took place at the Xiyingmen Square in Changzhou Grand Canal Tourist Area.
The Canal Youth volunteer team was officially established at the event.
Nearly 1,000 Hanfu (traditional Han Chinese clothing) lovers from various universities in Changzhou and surrounding cities walked along the Mingchengqiang (Ming Dynasty Wall) to replicate the Han-style wedding ceremony back in the Ming Dynasty, showing the beauty of the traditional Han Chinese clothing.
During the China Tourism Day, Changzhou Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, TV and Tourism Bureau carried out various activities in the city's major scenic spots for the citizens to participate in and enjoy the beauty of Changzhou.
