Recently, it was learned from Jintan Economic Development Zone that as of the end of November, Zotye Auto Jintan Base achieved billing sales of 11.03 billion yuan in total, the first company breaking through 10 billion sales in Jintan.
The base’s main product Damai X5 has maintained strong growth momentum since it was launched on the market. The monthly sales reached over 100,000 sets, ranking the first among domestic SUV brands. The new product Damai X7 had its eye-catching debut in Chengdu Auto Show 2016 and will be officially launched on the market after the Spring Festival in 2017.
In August this year, the Damai series engine project was officially put into operation in the base with a total investment of 1.5 billion yuan. It is expected to have an annual output of 300,000 high-efficiency and energy-saving engines, with annual sales of 4 billion yuan.
It is expected that by 2020 the base’s annual sales will reach 30 billion yuan.
