Recently, it was learned that New Solar Technology Group Co., Ltd., one of the five-star enterprises in Changzhou, ranked first in sales of unsaturated polyester resin products in the global market for three consecutive years.
The group's unsaturated polyester resin is widely used in automobiles, ships, rail transit, wind power, building materials, brick and stone repair, sanitary ware, artificial stone, etc.
According to the China Synthetic Resin Association (CSRA), the annual sales of unsaturated polyester resins in the global market reached 4.8 million, 5.1 million and 5.07 million tons respectively from 2016 to 2018, while the sales of unsaturated polyester resins in China were 2.62 million, 2.97 million and 2.7 million tons respectively. Between 2016 and 2018, New Solar Technology’s annual sales of unsaturated polyester resin were respectively 158,000, 174,000 and 170,000 tons, accounting for 3.3%, 3.4% and 3.3% of the global market respectively, ranking first in the world for three consecutive years.
