On Sept. 14th, Dai Shifu, chief of Wujin District People’s Government, met with the delegation of Consulates General in Shanghai headed by Mr. Khaled Youssef, Consul General of Egypt in Shanghai.
Dai briefed the delegation on the economic and social development of Wujin. He said that Wujin is one of the most important administrative district in Changzhou, which has been ranked in the top 100 districts for many years. It has all the necessary capital, talent, technology and industry supporting capacity for high-end manufacturing industry, and has formed a number of complete industrial chains. Among them, the rail transit industry's products have covered almost the entire system of rail vehicles and equipment; and the emerging graphene industry has gathered more than 100 enterprises, making 10 world’s firsts.
He hoped that the delegates will pay more attention to Wujin and introduce more friends to Wujin for touring, investment or cooperation, in order to create more opportunities for win-win cooperation and exchanges in economy and trade, science and technology, culture and education, etc.
Youssef said that he is willing to promote cooperation between Egypt and Wujin, especially in the fields of textile, renewable energy and infrastructure construction. He hoped that the cooperation can achieve fruitful results.
