The first-phase project of Changdanghu Plant, with a total investment of 700 million yuan, is expected to be completed in June this year.
Changdanghu Water Plant is a key livelihood project of Jintan District approved by Jiangsu Provincial Development and Reform Commission. Commenced in October 2015, the project covers an area of 135,000 square meters, with a designed water supply capacity of 300,000 tons per day upon completion.
It is informed that the supporting pipe network is currently under construction, with an investment of over 60 million yuan and a total length of 15.3 km.
At present, the waterworks construction has been completed. The project has entered the stage of equipment installation and testing. After putting into operation, the water plant will be responsible for urban and rural water supply in Jintan.
