On May 20, the results of Jiangsu’s Best Green Food Businesses were announced by Jiangsu Green Food Association. Two Changzhou companies, namely Liyang Shuixi Tea Plantation and Liyang Xinlong Ecological Agriculture Development Co., Ltd., were classified among the top 10 green food (tea) businesses.
Through several rounds of expert reviews, as well as online voting and credibility review, 10 of the 21 candidates, including Nanjing Pingshan Tea Leaf Co., Ltd., Nanjing Chunqing Tea Industry Co., Ltd., Liyang Shuixi Tea Plantation and Liyang Xinlong Ecological Agriculture Development Co., Ltd., were rated as the best tea businesses.
Liyang Shuixi Tea Plantation was founded in 1985. Its products have won first prize at China International Tea and Tea Ceremony Exhibition, golden prize at Shanghai International Tea Culture Tourism Festival and first prize at the “Luyu Cup” Tea Competition in Jiangsu. Xinlong Ecological Agriculture Development Co., Ltd. is located by the Liyang No.1 Road, covering an area of 133 hectares, including 40 hectares of tea farms. The company has been awarded as a national 3A integrity business, one of the 30 most beautiful tea farms in China, a national four-star enterprise for leisure agriculture and rural tourism and a national demonstration company for green and eco-friendly industry.
