Changzhou Aviation Industrial Park Development Plan has recently been demonstrated by experts and the first phase of infrastructure construction will kick off within this year. Relying on Changzhou Airport, Changzhou Aviation Industrial Park covers a total planning area of approximately 17.1 square km from New Menghe Town in the east to the junction of Changzhou and Danyang in the west and from Beijing-Shanghai high-speed railway in the north to Shanghai-Nanjing railway in the south.
The park is orientated towards aircraft manufacturing and air services and focuses on upstream and downstream industries of general aviation, large aircraft modification, decoration and maintenance, China's large aircraft support services and air express sorting center. Changzhou Aviation Industrial Park aims to be built into an air express distribution center of the Yangtze River Delta.
