Since 2010, Changzhou has received 37 foreign delegations at or above provincial-/ministerial- level, established sister-relationships with 21 international cities, and formed a work and exchange system with friendship organizations in the United States, Germany, Australia, etc.
In recent years, Changzhou has hosted a number of high-level international conferences, such as the Third China-U.S. Civil Society Peace Forum, the Seventh China-Vietnam Seminar on Party Theory, the Fourth Forum on China-West Asia and North Africa Countries Small & Medium Enterprises Cooperation, etc.
