On November 10th, FangYuan Pharmaceutical and Shanghai Jiaotong University singed an agreement to set up a joint aminoglycoside antibiotics lab. Mr. Liang Yibo, Vice Mayor of Changzhou, attended the signing ceremony.
Aminoglycoside antibiotics are indispensable in clinical treatments. The joint lab will conduct fundamental R & D on aminoglycoside antibiotics and help develop new aminoglycoside antibiotic drugs.
FangYuan Pharmaceutical is a innovation-driven company and it spends 8%-10% of its annual revenues on R & D of new medicine. The company’s flagship drug is Etimicin Sulfate, a new generation aminoglycoside antibiotics.
FangYuan and Jiaotong University also signed an agreement to jointly train postdoctoral researchers on the same day. Besides, a Jiangsu Postdoctoral Innovation Base was also inaugurated in FangYuan.
