Recently, the fifth batch of national-level specialized and sophisticated "little giant" enterprises was announced, and Changzhou is proud to have four carbon material companies making the list.
These four enterprises are: The Sixth Element (Changzhou) Materials Technology Co., Ltd., a national leader in graphene powder; Changzhou Fuxi Technology Co., Ltd., the largest graphene thermal film supplier; Jiangsu Shino New Materials & Technology Co., Ltd., a leading company in high-performance polyimide fiber; and Changzhou Huayang Inspection and Testing Technology Co., Ltd., specializing in photovoltaic and carbon material testing.
Graphene, renowned for its unique structure and remarkable properties, holds immense potential in various sectors like new energy, thermal management, corrosion resistance, and modification. Companies pursuing the "specialized and sophisticated" path have produced cutting-edge innovations such as integrating graphene into copper matrix composites, chips, nanosheets, and sensors. These advancements are propelling the manufacturing industry to new heights.
It's noteworthy that all four companies are located in Changzhou West Taihu Lake Science and Technology Industrial Zone (WEZ). WEZ attaches great importance to nurturing "specialized and sophisticated" graphene enterprises and has established a comprehensive system to support their growth from startups to technology-oriented and high-tech companies, eventually becoming industry champions and listed companies.
Moreover, WEZ provides an all-encompassing service system tailored to companies at different developmental stages, offering customized incubation plans, policy interpretation sessions, and specialized training. The park also offers public services like financial matchmaking, legal assistance, and human resources support. Additionally, it enhances professional services in inspection and testing, standard certification, innovation support, and intellectual property protection.
WEZ stands as the most concentrated hub of graphene "specialized and sophisticated" enterprises nationwide. Looking ahead, the park aims to cultivate 12 more such enterprises at provincial level or above by 2025, with one to two champions leading the manufacturing industry.
