On July 14th, Shi Zhijun, deputy mayor of Changzhou and secretary of the CPC Wujin District Committee, met with the delegation headed by Habel Darvishi, president of Tehran Urban & Suburban Railway Company.
Bombardier CPC Propulsion System Co. Ltd. (BCP) will sign a cooperation framework agreement with Tehran Urban & Suburban Railway Company as its sole supplier of traction control system.
BCP is owned equally by Bombardier and New United Group (former Jiangsu Changzhou Railcar Propulsion Engineering R&D Centre). It is dedicated to the production, marketing, and maintenance of propulsion equipment for rail vehicles. Since 2004, BCP has been cooperating with the CRRC Changchun Railway Vehicles Co., Ltd. to provide traction and control products for the Tehran Metro project.
