Recently, Changzhou musician Mr. Qin Dexiang, with his Chanting Music (Changzhou Chanting), was selected into the 4th Batch of Inheritors of National Intangible Cultural Heritage.
Qin Dexiang was born in 1939 and is currently a member of the Chinese Musicians' Association and the Chinese Society for Music Education. Qin has been dedicated to music education and composition, especially the promotion of Changzhou Chanting.
