Meeting with the difficulties in 2013, Zenith Steel Group Corporation achieved annual revenue of over 100 billion yuan, and thus became the first enterprise in Changzhou that reached turnover of 100 billion. On the morning of January 27, the municipal government held a mobilization meeting called "Speed up transformation and promote green development" at the premises of Zenith Steel. Mayor Fei Gaoyun urged the staff of Zenith Steel to prepare their minds for action, aim high for the future and adhere to the outlook of scientific development, in order to achieve sound and rapid development at a higher level, and to make new and greater contributions to the city's economic and social development.
City leaders Han Jiuyun and Wang Chengbin attended the meeting.
“Standing at a new platform, Zenith Steel will keep in pursuit of progress and innovation based on stability, put more efforts on high-precision and high-quality products through technical innovation, production line transformation and cross-industry cooperation, in order to develop into a leading steel corporation both at home and abroad, and to make new contributions to the economic development of Changzhou,” said Dong Caiping, president of Zenith Steel. Meanwhile, Zenith Steel has set its goal of 12 billion turnover in 2014, with a 2 billion investment in energy saving and recycling economy, so as to further fulfill its social responsibilities.
