Recently, the Ceremony for the WIPO-SIPO Award for Chinese Outstanding Patented Invention & Industrial Design was held in Beijing. Five patents from Changzhou were awarded at the ceremony, showing the creativity of Changzhou’s competitive emerging industries, such as photovoltaic, new materials, new medicine and new energy vehicles, in recent years.
They are:
The Back Bridge contact electrode and its preparation method developed independently by Trinasolar Co., Ltd.;
The manufacturing technique of multi-axial warp-knitted fabric invented by PGTEX (China) Co., Ltd.;
The omeprazole enteric-coated particle and its preparation method invented by Changzhou Siyao Pharmacy Co., Ltd.;
The automatic coiling device for balanced compensation chain on elevators co-invented by Changzhou University and Jiangsu Xinhua Rubber Belt Co., Ltd.; and
Niu Electric Car with the award of excellence in appearance design.
In recent years, Changzhou has played a leading role in intellectual properties in Jiangsu province. In 2017, the number of invention patents filed per 10,000 people reached 27.69 in Changzhou.
