On the morning of August 8th, the new plant of DISA (Changzhou) Machinery Co., Ltd. located in Changzhou National Hi-tech District (CND) was officially completed. DISA Changzhou was established by DISA Group in July 1997, taking an area of 28,000 square meters, with more than 200 employees. From 2011 to June 2012, DISA Changzhou achieved sales of RMB 235 million yuan. This time, the company increased a capital of USD 1.6 million and expanded the plant area of over 4,000 square meters. Up to now, 25 foreign investment projects in CND, including Rieter, Terex, Chatwin, Hoerbiger and so on have increased their investment, totaling USD 107 million.
According to the responsible person of the Bureau of Commerce in CND, most of the enterprises that increased their investment this year are equipment manufacturers with certain technical background, for they look to the constantly improving environment of CND and try to seize the investment opportunities of the economic downturn so as to get prepared for the upcoming economic recovery.
