On the afternoon of February 26, Wang Quan, secretary of the CPC Changzhou Municipal Committee, met with the delegation headed by Li Xiaopeng, member of the CPPCC National Committee and chairman of the China Everbright Group, at the Administration Center to jointly promote the operation of Everbright Group's investment projects in Changzhou.
Wang Quan welcomed the visit of Li Xiaopeng and his entourage, and expressed gratitude to the Everbright Group for its long-term support for Changzhou’s the economic and social development. Changzhou and Everbright Group have a good foundation for cooperation. He hopes to establish strategic cooperative relations with Everbright Group, carry out all-round and in-depth matchmaking, expand the areas of cooperation and promote the high-quality development of Changzhou’s economy. The CPC Changzhou Municipal Committee and the Municipal Government will, as always, fully support the construction and development of Everbright Group’s projects in Changzhou, in order to achieve mutual benefit and win-win results.
Li Xiaopeng said that Everbright Group has successfully invested in five projects in Changzhou in the field of waste treatment and environmental protection with the support of the CPC Changzhou Municipal Committee and the Municipal Government. Entering the new era, Everbright Group is willing to work with Changzhou to expand cooperation in finance, environmental protection, tourism, health care and other industries.
After 35 years of development, China Everbright Group Co., Ltd. has cultivated six strategic business areas including wealth management, asset management, investment banking, environmental protection, tourism and health. At present, Everbright Group has five projects in Changzhou, namely Everbright Shengda Solid Waste Disposal (Changzhou) Co., Ltd., Everbright Changgao New Environmental Energy (Changzhou) Co., Ltd., Everbright Environmental Energy (Changzhou) Co., Ltd., Everbright Photovoltaic Energy (Changzhou) Co., Ltd. and Everbright Environmental Technology Equipment (Changzhou) Co., Ltd., with a total investment of 1.759 billion yuan.
