On June 5, a two-member delegation headed by Molly Koscina, Consul of the U.S. Consulate General in Shanghai, visited Changzhou. Du Jibin, Director of Changzhou Municipal Foreign Affairs Office, met with the delegates and exchanged views about future cooperation in fields of economy, education, science and technology, etc. Koscina said that the U.S. Consulate General in Shanghai pays great attention to the development of Changzhou and hopes to enhance mutual understanding and seek common development through this visit.
During their stay in Changzhou, the delegation also visited the Bureau of Commerce in Changzhou National High-tech District, the US-funded enterprise Sensata Technologies (Changzhou) Co., Ltd., Changzhou Museum and Changzhou Children's Welfare Institute.
