On May 10, the Int’l Innovation Forum on Novel Technology & Materials in Coatings Industry 2018 was held in Wujin, Changzhou. The forum was co-sponsored by China National Coatings Industry Association, the Administrative Committee of Jiangsu Changzhou Economic Development Zone and Changzhou Science and Technology Bureau.
Under the deepening of national green development strategy, the coatings industry is facing challenges and opportunities as never before. The development experience of the world coatings industry has proved that the fundamental solution for green development is dependent on the innovation for science and technology.
The forum, focusing on the latest development of new materials and novel application technologies for coatings industry in the world, discussed the topics like the R&D of new coatings technology, the development of industrial corrosion protection coatings and marine coatings, the use of new materials, processes and facilities in industrial coatings, the status and trend of high-performance, energy-saving, environment-friendly and functional coating, etc.
