On October 29th and 30th, the Ministry of Transport held a national work conference of the urban public transport in Shenzhen. In the conference, Changzhou Public Transport Group Corporation won the title of "Top 10 National Urban Public Transport Enterprise", which was the only one enterprise awarded in Jiangsuprovince.
Since the "Eleventh Five-Year" period,Changzhouhas invested more than 50 billion yuan in developing public transport. 1872 square kilometers of urban area achieved integrated planning and operations management; 123 new bus lines were built; 260 bus lines were adjusted; 644 villages were available for bus service; 250 km of bus rapid transit roads were constructed, which carried 30% of bus passengers; more than 2100 air-conditioned buses were newly added.
