On the afternoon of Nov 16, Mayor Ding Chun headed a delegation to Hong Kong and paid a visit to Dr. Ba Shusong, Chief China Economist, Hong Kong Exchanges. Ding said that Changzhou has attached great importance to the development of the capital market. This year, Changzhou issued the "16 Articles of New Deal" and the "Three-Year Plan of Action" for the share merger reform of enterprises. AAC Technologies, Trauson Meidical Instrument Co,. Ltd., Jiangsu Shunfeng Photovoltaic Technology Co., Ltd., Future Holdings Co., Ltd., Jiangsu Nanfang Communication Co., Ltd. and other four Changzhou enterprises have been listed in Hong Kong, raising a total of 5.5 billion yuan of funds. He hoped Changzhou and Hong Kong Exchanges to strengthen cooperation to support local enterprises’ restructuring and upgrading.
Ding also visited the Bank of China (Hong Kong) to further promote the cooperation between the Hong Kong and Changzhou branches to support Changzhou enterprises’ issuance of offshore bonds in Hong Kong and listing in the Hong Kong Exchanges.
