On May 28, Changzhou welcomed the 2024 "SHOW JIANGSU" photography event, a collaborative effort between the Information Office of the Jiangsu Provincial People's Government and the Xinhua News Agency News Information Center.
During their visit, the delegation toured key sites in Changzhou, including the Liyang High-Tech Zone Planning Exhibition Hall, Jiangsu Ankura Intelligent Power Co., Ltd., Guilin Village in Tianmuhu Town, and Liyang No. 1 Road.
Journalists and professional photographers from 29 prominent international media outlets documented the city's dynamic development. Their lenses captured Changzhou's strides in industrial park construction, rural revitalization, corporate innovation, and culture-tourism integration.
The event also featured engaging cultural experiences. In Guilin Village, participants were treated to a demonstration of "Dian Cha," a unique tea ritual of the Song Dynasty (960-1276), providing an immersive experience into the refined art of traditional Chinese tea culture. Meanwhile, in Daibu Town, attendees learned the intricate process of making zongzi, traditional rice dumplings, and savored this quintessential festive delicacy.
