Recently, Jiangsu Datang International Jintan Thermal Power Generation Co., Ltd. and Jintan Economic Development Zone signed the second-phase project investment agreement, according to which Datang International will add investment of 2.5 billion to build two sets of 400 MW natural gas-fired generating units.
Datang International Jintan cogeneration project is one of Jiangsu’s key projects in 2016. The first phase of the project, invested with 2.5 billion yuan, has been started on September 28th this year to build two sets of 400 MW natural gas-steam combined thermal power generating units. The first-phase project will be put into operation in the first half of 2018.
It is understood that this project, with natural gas as fuel, is both clean and efficient. After putting into operation, it will effectively meet the local demand, and is conducive to optimizing the power structure and promoting regional energy conservation.
