On August 4, the Science and Technology Department of the Ministry of Education announced the list of the second group of university scientific achievements transformation and technology transfer bases. The Administration Committee of Changzhou Science and Education Town is on the list.
The identification of university technology transfer bases by the Ministry of Education aims to enhance universities’ role in supporting national strategic actions, strengthening collaborative innovation with localities and industries, and promoting high-quality economic development. Since the program was launched in 2018, a total of 77 colleges and universities across the country as well as five localities have been identified as such bases. The Administration Committee of Changzhou Science and Education Town is the only locality in Jiangsu province named on the list.
