On the afternoon of August 12, another 20 medical workers assembled at the Administration Center to leave for Yangzhou. Zang Xuefeng, who works at the department of intensive care medicine, was appointed leader of the team.
The team is the fourth batch of medical staff dispatched by Changzhou. The members come from 9 medical institutions in the city, including Changzhou No.1 Hospital, No.2 Hospital, Wujin Hospital, etc. Some of them had experience of providing medical services in Wuhan.
After arriving in Yangzhou, they will assist the epidemic control and prevention work in the Guangling District.
Up to now, Changzhou has assigned 532 medical workers to assist Nanjing and Yangzhou.
