On October 11th, the Sino-German International Forum on Industrial Design was held in Changzhou Institute of Mechatronic Technology. Vice Mayor Wang Chengbin attended the forum and delivered a speech.
As more and more manufacturing enterprises have realized the importance of industrial design, the demand for high-quality industrial design is growing rapidly in Changzhou. As of the end of 2014, Changzhou has established one national industrial design center, one provincial demonstration park of industrial design, 11 provincial demonstration centers of industrial design and 15 provincial model enterprises of industrial design.
The forum gathered a large number of experts from China and Germany, such as Martin, a designer of TEAMS DESIGN, Yang Jie, a famous Chinese designer, and many more. They shared with the participants the latest research results, academic ideas and successful practices in the area of industrial design.
The same day, China (Changzhou) Intelligent Manufacturing Equipment Industrial Design Center and Changzhou Industrial Design Center held their unveiling ceremonies.
