On October 11th, the 2016 Changzhou • Yangtze River Delta Intelligent Manufacturing Summit & Gaogong Robotics Industry Fair was held in Wujin. Experts, scholars and entrepreneurs from the intelligent CNC and robotics industry gathered in Changzhou to exchange views on the industry's development opportunities and trends in the next five years. Vice Mayor Fang Guoqiang attended the event.
The summit lasted two days, which was designed to establish a high-end dialogue and exchange platform for the development of robotics industry in Changzhou and even in China, so as to further promote the UNISPAR programs and technology transfer in robotics industry.
In recent years, Changzhou’s robotics industry developed rapidly. As of the end of 2015, Changzhou Industrial Park of Robotics has settled 58 robot and intelligent CNC companies above designated scale, with the annual output value of 22.7 billion yuan. At the same time, the park has nurtured a number of technology and R & D platforms to support industrial robot production.
