Recently, it was learned from the Local Taxation Bureau that the income tax self-declaration for individuals with annual income of over 120,000 yuan during the year 2014 has been concluded in Changzhou. The city's tax payment reached 2.107 billion yuan, an increase of 019 million yuan over last year. The amount of self-declared income tax for individuals with annual income of over 120,000 yuan accounts for 34.92 percent of total personal income tax.
According to statistics, Changzhou’s personal income tax maintained a steady and rapid growth in 2014, which totaled 6 billion yuan, an increase of 841 million yuan year-on-year.
In recent years, the number of income tax self-declaration has been growing, mainly involved in traditional high-income sectors such as manufacturing, financial services, and electricity, heat, gas and water supply.
