The opening of airport has entered the final stage, after which the non-stop flights from Changzhou Airport to Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and countries in Southeast Asia will be available in the near future.
It can be seen from the airfield that the third broadening and constructing project called “constructing without stopping the flights” is in quick process. The infrastructure of Changzhou Airport will be reaching a new level after completion. The tracks of the airfield will extend from 2,800 m to 3,400 m, reaching the standard of 4E. The apron takes 160,000 m3 with 20 parking stands, where 19 planes can be landing or taking off even in rush hours. The annual passenger throughput will reach 4.9 million, while the cargo throughput can make 200,000 tons.
