Recently, the Electric Power Company relocated the four 10 kV underground cable lines of the Palace of Culture (Wen Hua Gong) to “give way to” the construction of the metro station of Wen Hua Gong.
The Wen Hua Gong station is the transfer station of Metro Line 1, which has a larger scale, involving four power lines each with a length of nearly 2 km. The first-phase project of Metro Line 1 needs to construct a total of three 110 kV traction stations, install 51 temporary electrical transformer boxes, raise a 500 kV power line and a 220 kV power line, and relocate more than 30 10 kV power lines. Up to now, the Electric Power Company has completed 95% of the relocation program and installed more than 31 sets of temporary transformer boxes.
