From March 12 to 13, Liu hualong, chairman and party secretary of CRRC Corporation Limited (CRRC), and his delegation visited Changzhou. Fei Gaoyun, party secretary of Changzhou, and Ding Chun, mayor of Changzhou, respectively met with Liu and his delegation.
Fei said that Changzhou is currently promoting industrial transformation and upgrading. Rail transit as a strategic emerging sector has shown a good development momentum. The CPC Changzhou Municipal Committee and Municipal Government will fully support CRRC’s innovation and development in Changzhou. At the same time, Fei hoped that CRRC will cooperate with Changzhou to build the Rail Transit Industrial Park, so as to expand the Chinese rail transit industry with integrated resources .
Liu said that CRRC has been consolidating its resources to promote its development as expected. Going forward, CRRC will collect the global resources, and grasp the opportunities of the “Belt and Road” Initiative "one way" and the global development trend of rail transportation equipment, in order to take a leading role in the approach of “Made in China 2025 "and" Internet + ".
Currently, CRRC has 46 wholly-owned and holding subsidiaries, of which, in Changzhou it has CRRC Qishuyan Co., Ltd., CRRC Qishuyan Locomotive & Rolling Stock Technology Research Institute Co., Ltd., CRRC Yangtze Co., Ltd. and CRRC Changzhou Railway Higher Vocational School.
