On the morning of August 26th, with a total investment of 2 billion yuan, the new energy lithium-ion battery project of Jiangsu Kedali Precision Industry Co., Ltd. (Jiangsu KDL) held its opening ceremony in Zhongguancun Science and Technology Industrial park in Liyang.
It is reported that Jiangsu KDL is a subsidiary of Shenzhen KDL. The new energy lithium-ion battery project is committed to meet the demand of high-end clients and potential customers in peripheral areas, such as China Aviation Lithium-ion Battery Co., Ltd., Wuxi Panasonic, ATL, Lishen, Godsend, Boston, Nanjing LG, and so on.
With a total investment of 2 billion yuan and an area of 320 mu (about 21.3 hectares), the company has purchased 320 sets of global advanced equipment like the Japanese battery case production line, automatic assembly line of anti-explosion battery pack, Japanese multi-station press line, German and Korean friction welders and welding robots, etc.
As soon as the project is put into production, it will reach an annual capacity of 120 million square-shaped functional components of lithium-ion battery and 300 round-shaped functional components. The sales revenue is expected to be about 2.8 billion yuan per year.
