The 8th of August, 2013 is the fifth National Fitness Day of China, while the first National Fitness Month of Changzhou kicks off on the same day. To encourage people to actively fitness, Changzhou Olympic Sports Center, Zenith Stadium and Changzhou Youth Sports School are open to the public free of charge on the very day. From August 8 to August 31, a series of mass sports activities and various competitions will be opened for the public.
The following is the schedule of the National Fitness Month:
Aug. 8-9 Softball of Youth, the 14th Changzhou Games at Huayuan No.2 Primary School
Aug. 10-11 “Zhong Ao Long Jun” Cup Badminton Championship at Badminton Venue of Wujin Fitness Square
Aug. 10-12 Women's Football of Youth, the 14th Changzhou Games at Lihe Experimental Middle School
Aug. 10-13 Basketball of Youth, the 14th Changzhou Games at Hutangqiao Experimental High School and Xingchen Experimental School
Aug. 14-19 Football of Company Staff, the 14th Changzhou Games at the stadium of Qingtan Sports Center
Aug. 15 Yangge Dance Competition (an ancient folk dance), the 14th Changzhou Games at Heyuan Park, Zhonglou District
Aug.17-18 "Intercontinental Cup" Table Tennis Folk Masters Changzhou at Olympic Sports Center
Aug. 27-29 Chess Game, the 14th Changzhou Games at Lijing Hotel
Aug. 29-Sep. 1 The Sixth "Chery Tiggo" Cup East China Amateur Badminton Masters at Olympic Sports Center
