On April 21, Changzhou Metro launched the “Audio Library” Train on Line 1. Passengers taking this train will have access to a variety of e-books and audio books by scanning the QR codes posted in each carriage. Pairing with Ximalaya FM, there are thousands of audio books in genres like history, culture, business, finance and education updated on a weekly basis. The library also updates the latest news, stories and lifestyles of Changzhou every day.
The interior of this train is decorated with nearly 50 paintings about Changzhou’s old streets and local lifestyles.
It is learned that in addition to the Audio Library Train, the Changzhou Metro Audio Library Station will be open to traffic in the near future. Meanwhile, Changzhou Metro will also hold book-themed activities such as book club, second-hand books exchange, used books fundraiser and the like.
