On November 14, 2011 World Cup Skill Competition was closed in Bologna, Italy. Changzhou native Zhou Yi won the men's all-round champion with other three team members, becoming the 17th world champion in Changzhou’s history.
Another Changzhou native, Lu Chunlong, who caught the first Olympic gold medal for Changzhou, won the men's single champion in World Trampoline Championships held in Birmingham, England on November 20. In the preliminaries, the Beijing Olympic bronze medal winner Dong Dong and Lu Chunlong ranked the first and second places respectively, obtaining the two competitions places in London Olympics for China.
