On July 10, a landmark signing ceremony took place in Jintan district, marking the official arrival of Svendborg Brakes' assembly project in the Sino-German (Changzhou) Innovation Industry Park (SGIP). This event heralds the entry of the first Danish enterprise into the park and the first of its kind in Jintan.
Svendborg Brakes, a subsidiary of the US-based Regal Rexnord Corporation's Industrial Powertrain Solutions division, is a global leader in the development and production of industrial brakes. The company is renowned for its hydraulic braking systems, power transmission, and motion control products. Regal Rexnord already operates two factories within the SGIP, making this new project its first investment in the park through its wholly-owned Danish subsidiary and its third factory in the area.
